Due to scheduling conflicts, the Diocesan Renewal Gathering is rescheduled to Saturday, June 1, 2024.
One aspect of Bishop Akiyama’s duties is to represent the diocese at the consecration services of other bishops in The Episcopal Church. The consecration of the new bishop in the Diocese of California is scheduled for the same weekend as the Renewal Gathering, and Bishop Akiyama is expected to attend as a bishop in Province VIII.
We are still planning on welcoming Bishop Rob Wright from the Diocese of Atlanta as our guest speaker at the gathering.
Unfortunately, we were unable to secure the Salem Convention Center for that date. However, we are very appreciative to the congregation of St. Paul Episcopal Church in Salem for opening their campus for our diocese to convene.
We appreciate your flexibility and will share more information in the new year. For now, please update your calendars to reflect our new date and location: Saturday, June 1, at St. Paul Episcopal Church in Salem.
