Episcopal Church Women

The Episcopal Church Women (ECW) of the Episcopal Church in Western Oregon represent all women in the diocese, whether or not they are part of an organized ECW group, by virtue of their being active members of their faith communities.

The National Episcopal Church Women have championed women’s rights in The Episcopal Church since its founding in 1871. They seek to listen to the voices of women worldwide; promote educational, spiritual, and social programs for women and children; provide opportunities and tools for growth; and encourage the development of women’s leadership.

Episcopal Church Women Prayer

Almighty God, we pray that You will bless our work in mission and ministry in the world. Help us pray fervently, labor diligently and give liberally to make known the power of your love given through your Son Jesus Christ. Let us not forget the lessons from the past nor fear the challenges of the future. Anoint us with your grace and shine in our hearts as we reflect your light throughout the world. – Amen.
