A Beloved Community Story: Learning from APANO

March 12, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join in a conversation about the history of Asian Americans in Oregon, with presentations from artist Sabina Haque and APANO Interim Executive Co-Director and Metro Councilor Duncan Hwang. This is an opportunity to learn about creating space for anti-racist storytelling–and new stories!–in our own communities. This event is made possible by a grant from the Episcopal Church’s Becoming Beloved Community initiative focused on ending anti-AAPI hate. The event will be in person and also live-streamed at facebook.com/yourchurchon82ndavenue/live.
