Advent Service of Lessons and Carols led by the Ascension Choir
A meditative service for Advent tide with music by Stephen Cleobury, Jeanne Demessieux and Gracia Baptista. The service will also include music by English composer Theophania Cecil (1782-1879), one of the first women to write music for Anglican services. The Ascension Choir will sing Cecil’s anthem “Brightness of the Father’s Glory” in a new edition edited by our Minister of Music.
