Grief Group (In Person)

Come walk the journey of grief together, supported by friends across the Portland Metro area and guided by a professional grief counselor. A partnership among 13 parishes, Grief Group (In Person) is a twice-monthly meeting for those processing grief in its many forms, supported by the Episcopal Church in Western Oregon.
In person gatherings meet on 2nd & 4th Thursdays at All Saints Episcopal Church (location will change in July). Registration is always open, and sessions are free of charge.

About the facilitator: The Rev’d Jennifer Creswell has been an Episcopal priest for 19 years and is currently the Vicar of St Andrew’s in North Portland. She is also a healthcare chaplain serving palliative care patients and their families. Having become familiar with that strange companion, grief, in her twenties, Jennifer has been at the bedside as hundreds of people have taken their last breaths. Her reverence for life’s transitions led her to train as a postpartum doula and an end-of-life doula. People are Jennifer’s favorite thing.
