Holy Hike

Holy Hike: Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge
Just a short ride from Portland, Oregon, the Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge is a fantastic destination to see a wide variety of wildlife, including over 200 species of birds, and a variety of mammals, reptiles and amphibians, and plants and insects.
Meeting on May 20, we will leave promptly at 10:00am from the visitor center for an approximately 2 mile hike around the refuge.
Along the way we will listen to holy scripture, say prayers, and participate (if you so choose) in the bread and wine of Holy Communion.
The terrain will be mostly level, with gravel paths. Sturdy walking shoes or light hikers are recommended. We meet rain or shine, so please come prepared for the weather on the day.
The mission of Holy Hikes is to bring people together in the midst of creation, and foster an encounter with the Sacred. We do this through local hikes in the Portland metro area.
