Nine Lessons & Carols

St. Michael’s Festival of Nine Lessons & Carols is coming soon on Sunday, December 22 at 5 pm. Please join the St. Michael’s Singers and Choristers, Choir Director Brian Fairbanks, and Music Director & Organist Hannah Brewer for hymns, carols, motets, biblical readings, and poems exploring the story of Christ’s birth. The choir will sing in Latin, Swedish, Russian/Church Slavonic, and English, including works by Moses Hogan, Eleanor Daley, Sergei Rachmaninoff, and Ralph Vaughan Williams. A festive reception will follow in the Parish Hall.
