All are welcome to join the diocesan staff, Trinity Cathedral, and the Portland-area Episcopal Churches to march in the 2023 Portland Pride Parade on Sunday, July 16.
The Episcopal Church in Western Oregon, with the help of Trinity Cathedral and St. Michael & All Angels/San Miguel y Todos los Angeles in Portland, will have a section in the parade so we can process through the route together. The group will meet at 9:00 am at Trinity Cathedral for a short blessing, then walk 15 minutes to the beginning of the route. There is limited parking available at Trinity Cathedral; we encourage you to carpool, bike, or take public transportation. The route is approximately one mile in length.
We are asking folks who plan on attending to register so we can have an approximate head count. Registration link available here.
Faith communities are invited to bring a group. If your faith community already has a poster or banner, you are welcome to bring it. If your faith community does not and would like a poster to print, Alli Gannett has created a simple design she can send you to print; please email her at [email protected].
We also have Pride swag! You can purchase t-shirts, buttons, and stickers from our online Pride Swag Shop. Visit the shop here.
