The Intersection between White Supremacy and Antisemitism

The Engaging Racial Justice Working Group in the Episcopal Church in Western Oregon invites you to the upcoming 90-minute panel discussion on the Intersection between White Supremacy and Antisemitism.

Guests include:

  • Rabbi Ariel Stone – Rabbi at Congregation Shir Tikvah in Portland. She is the first female rabbi to be the head of a congregation in the state of Oregon, and a knowledgeable teacher of Torah and a recognized scholar of Jewish mysticism. She has served as adjunct faculty with the Judaic Studies department at Portland State University and Willamette University of Salem.
  • Dr. Beverly Mitchell – Professor of Systematic Theology and Church History, at Wesley Theological Seminary, in Washington, DC. Her teaching and research interests that include: Systematic Theology, Church History, human dignity, genocide, global poverty, and the history of the African American struggle for justice.
  • Bob Horenstein – Director of Community Relations of the Jewish Federation of Greater Portland. Horenstein has directed the Federation’s efforts to safeguard the social safety net, promote civil rights, combat hate and bigotry and strengthen the local community’s ties to Israel.
