Seeking church musician for organ and/or clavinova
TASKS: We are seeking skilled musician to play organ and/or keyboard for
- Sunday morning services, 9:30-noon – once a month or more often
- Special services such baptisms, funerals, memorials, mid-week in Holy Week etc.
- Seasonal choir programs
- Other duties as may arise, including helping choose music
SKILLS: The ideal applicant will have the following skills:
- Proficiency on the organ Allen Digital Computer Organ and Clavinova keyboard, as shown
- Familiarity with church music, especially hymns ○ We use the Episcopal Hymnal 1982, Lift Every Voice and Wonder Love and Praise hymnals.
In accordance with the Episcopal Church in Western Oregon rules, all Diocesan employees (including part time and occasional) must be able to pass a background check, be vaccinated for COVID 19, and take SAFE CHURCH training. Pay for the position is based on the Episcopal Church in Western Oregon rates. Typically $100/ Sunday service plus mileage.
