Chaplains for Retired Clergy
The Chaplains to the Retired Program provides local support to retired clergy, their spouses, and surviving spouses. Each diocesan bishop is encouraged to appoint Chaplains to the Retired. To support the Chaplains to the Retired, CPG holds annual meetings to keep them up-to-date on the benefits provided by CPG and other information important to retirees.
The work of the chaplains is an expression of the pastoral ministry of the bishop to the retired. Their work is also an extension of the care of the Church Pension Fund for their beneficiaries.
Chaplains Can Assist with the Following:
-
- Providing local pastoral care and support partners & beneficiaries
- Hosting gatherings for retired clergy and partners
- Regular communication to keep you informed
