We are excited to announce that The Episcopal Church has updated the Parochial Report for your 2024 filings. We are pleased with the revisions and hope you will find the new report to be more streamlined and user friendly.
Here are some highlights of important changes:
- No Workbook or Separate Instructions: This year, the form will no longer include a workbook or separate instruction guide. Instead, helpful guidance is embedded directly within each section of the online report.
- New Questions, Familiar Topics: While several questions have been updated, they align with information you’re likely already tracking.
- Parish Register App Integration: If you’re using the Parish Register App for Church Services, it will seamlessly sync your data with the parochial report filing site, making the process even smoother.
Online Filing Requirement: All reports must be submitted online by March 1, 2025. The online filing will be available on January 6, 2025, for churches to begin their input. If your church lacks internet access, please contact Meron Yimesgen via email at [email protected] in the Diocesan Center Finance Department as soon as possible to determine your filing options and timing for assistance.
The Diocesan Center Finance Department will be holding Zoom Sessions in January and February to assist congregations with the Parochial Report Finance section.

There is no need to pre-register. If you have questions after reviewing the financial section of the report, simply bring your questions to the Zoom Office Hour Session.
Given the updates to the Parochial Report by The Episcopal Church, the Episcopal Church in Western Oregon is required to also make updates to how DPA will be calculated in 2025. Specific information on how DPA will be calculated will be communicated soon.
