Dear Friends in Christ,
I write to share the news that we have officially sold the property at 11800 S. Military Lane. The Elk Rock Garden Foundation is the new deed holder, and through this purchase, the property has come full circle as it is once again in the hands of the heirs of the original donors.
The Close and Elk Rock Garden will always have a special place in the heart of the Episcopal Church in Western Oregon, and I am glad people will be able to continue to enjoy the property.
The sale was finalized on Friday, July 28, and the diocesan staff has completely relocated to our new office at 2780 SE Harrison St. in Milwaukie. I appreciate your patience as the staff continues to orient themselves to the new building.
